Everyone is in panic stations now pulling together the final pack before tomorrow's departure. We leave Redlands at 11am and have a few hours at Venice beach before we leave the airport at 930pm. Just in case: we arrive in Brisbane on Sat July 7th at 8:30am. It will take approximately an hour for the

Redlands Game 4

Expos win the last game in Redlands with a convincing comeback win over the hosts. Joe and Tim combined to pull back the 909ers after a 7 run first innings. The Expos were able to put it all together matching great defence with solid aggressive offence to bring the series to a tie.
Everyone was pleased the team was able to over power the home team and pull together a final win. The Uncle Howie's Pizza party was a blast everyone got a chance to publicly thank their hosts and the b

Redlands Game 3

A thriller right to the end. Expos win in the bottom of the 7th innings, 12 - 11 . The expos staged another comeback after the 909ers got out to an early lead. Nicky was struck by a pitch on her hand, x-rays revealed it's broken. She'll be in a soft cast for 6 weeks. Noel was really impressed with the players spirit and comeback.

Training clinic at San Pedro

A training clinic for baseball, without the baseball? Yes that’s right not a single baseball was thrown today, the clinic worked us through drills. Drills to develop better pitching, catching, and faster feet. Everyone was feeling the ‘burn’ after working with medicine balls, aerobic balls, rope ladders and sprinting.

Game 1 San Pedro

Due to some poor directions and estimations we got lost on our way down to San Pedro, and still arived over an hour early. We played the San Pedro High School Pirates and although all players played well we lost 5-0.

All the players went home with their hosts before returning to one of the coaches house for a BBQ dinner and party. All the hosts put in for a massive feast with ribs, steak and salads. Everyone was leaving early to get some sleep before the clinic tomorrow.

Game 3 Anahiem - Rebels

OUR GAME AGAINST ANAHEIM REBELS

It was a very exciting game and played with a lot of intensity. In the first innings we scored 2 runs. Unfortunately the ability of the Anaheim Rebels (an All Star Team) was of a high standard and were able to stop us from scoring any more runs. T

Game 2 Anaheim

Today’s Game against Loara high school resulted in a loss. None of the players gave up and were able to hold their heads high. They learnt valuable lessons to help them develop as players. The coach from the opposing team was rather impressed with a couple of our players and we are looking forward to our game tomorrow against the Anaheim Rebels at the Loara high school baseball ground. Game 1:

Expos VS Colts (average age 15 with a couple of 17 year olds)

Last Day

Today was the last day in Encinitas, the players had a free morning with their hosts, before a bbq on the beach and the closing ceremony. It was a great day, the hosts tried to teach us 'football' and we returned the favour without too much success on either part. A game of beach cricket was the only compramise. We had a bonfire and a wonderful meal before the stay was official closed.
The players went home for their last night with their families, and will be back at the field f

Game 3

EXPOS WIN!!!!!

What a trilling game, against the u/19's. We won 5 - 6 with the go ahead run coming in the bottom of the last innings. We played a hard game with some questionable calls by umpires not helping. Its nice to have a win to finish the series in Encinitas.

The Players had the morning free with their host families, with some going to the county fair and once again being friendly with the locals.

The Expos spent the morning with their 'families', before coming to game 2 versing the under 14 team this time. We played well and held the game tight for a few innings. We lost 11-2 (Possibly the wrong score but we still lost). Niki pitched a great series of innings with Jack, George and Andrew all helping to close the game. Tex showed off with his part time catching relieving for me after the first four innings. Timmy, Nathen S, Jo

First Game

Wonderful day, we had an early breakfast and packed up our Anaheim hotel rooms and moved onto the bus for the two hour drive to San Diego. We toured Pet Co park, walking around the whole ground and even on the warning track itself. We then proceeded onto the first game of our tour. The game finished last night, with a terrible loss to the San Dieguito all stars. The Expos got out to a 4 run lead only to let the All Stars back into the game

A Day at DisneyLand

Another day of relaxation with a visit to Disney land and California Adventure. The highlights were the rides and chasing pretty girls. The California screamer roller coaster was a huge hit, as well as the space mountain, the toboggan run and the MalabuBlaster kept us entertained for hours. Heaps of photo's of players and girls were suggested for the site but were censored by Denise. tomorrow we travel to San Diego and the games begin, R&R is OVER.
