There is a Expo team game to be held at the Redlands in Queensland on Monday 11/6/07, against another Expo team from last year.

The 2007 Expo team traveling to the USA, will need to attend this game!

Well this is likely the last time you will hear from me unless I can get internet connection at LAX, I’ll try but no promises.

Well today is of course the 4^th of July, The USA’s biggest holiday, similar to our Australia day but much bigger and more patriotic. We had a BBQ with a group of Redlands hosts, our thanks to the Smiths (who
are hosting Tom Pascoe) for their hospitality, great food and beer.

Well another free day for us here so a sleep in for yours
truly, and then my better half decided the suitcase wasn’t full yet so it was
off to the shops. We ended up at Costco a warehouse style bulk shop and it sold
everything from chewing gum to plasma TV’s. It was enormous and very, very
cheap. We have now filled the suitcases. I just hope they aren’t overweight.

Tonight we had the Official Tour Banquet and the induction
of the Australian Expos Hall of Fame Members. It was a wonderful… Continue

Well the games have wrapped up and it was a thrilling day of
baseball, one of the hottest we have had and the boys were fired up for wins.
Although both games were terribly close both the Redlands teams snuck home in the final
innings. That leaves the Expos 18’s winning the series 3-1, and the Expos 16’s
went down 2-3. When I get a report from the boys I’ll post them on the web, though
it may be another 12 hours as today is a free day and I don’t know where they
are.

We only had games today and what disappointing and exciting
games they were; the 18’s was a real nail biter. I’ll leave CC and Greg to
describe the action for you. Suffice it to say it was a great coaches meeting
tonight. Final matches are tomorrow, a 1pm
start so we get our first sleep in of the tour tomorrow (thank God for
that!!!).
